We completed our 3-month Community Visit process in Vernon. Community members identified 3 priority areas and built task forces to take action to:
- Develop the Riverfront and Improve Trails and Outdoor Recreation
- Build a Community Store and Café
- Enhance the Village Center
Vernon community members also recognized the importance of the current efforts of the Vernon Planning and Economic Development Commission and chose to support their continued work on key economic and business development initiatives including: Develop a Business Incubator; Improve Fiber Optic Networks; and Build a Utility Scale Energy Project.
