VCRD is seeking a dedicated, energetic and hardworking Community Projects Associate to provide facilitation, technical assistance, coaching, resource connections, grant drafting, and other support to local leaders who are driving projects forward for community and economic recovery.
We’re looking for someone who:
- demonstrates excellent project development and communication skills
- is a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- is eager to work with rural communities and local leaders in all their diversity
- is dedicated to sustainability, innovation, and the progress of rural Vermont
The position is based in the VCRD Montpelier office and remotely. Scheduling is flexible and will include regular evening meetings; in state travel required. Salary range of $42-52K based on skills and experience; attractive benefit package.
