On April 16, 2020, Gov. Phil Scott and the Agency of Commerce and Community Development announced the creation of the Economic Mitigation and Recovery Task Force. On April 22, 2020, Vermont Public Radio hosted a conversation with task force members to share what they’re doing to help move Vermonters and businesses toward reopening sectors of the economy. Guests include:
- Lindsay Kurrle, secretary of the Agency of Commerce and Community Development
- Debbie Winters, president of Firetech Sprinkler and member of the RestartVT action team
- Thom Lauzon, principal at Salvador and Babic accounting and member of the Employer Financial and Technical Support action team
- Paul Costello, executive director of the Vermont Council on Rural Development and member of the Local Support and Community action team
