Greater Greensboro Community Visit Day - July 17

On Wednesday, July 17, 2019, all members of the greater Greensboro community are invited to participate in a series of forums in town to share their concerns and ideas. VCRD will bring a team of federal, state, business, nonprofit, and philanthropic leaders who will listen to residents and will return in months ahead to the community with recommendations, ideas and support in developing action plans and funding strategies. Click HERE for the schedule of the day.

The forum sessions for discussion on the 17th will include: Infrastructure & Telecommunications; Housing for All; Economic Development: Jobs & Recreation; Sustainable Future: Energy, Water & Environment; Building Community Vitality: Arts & Aging in Place; and The Future of the Working Landscape.

Childcare will be available in the library during forums. The library will be providing activities for children from 2:30-5:45pm and WonderArts will lead activities from 7-8:30pm.

Everyone is invited to come to any of the forums and join for dinner at the Greensboro United Church at 6pm. Lasagna and beverages will be provided. Please bring a salad, rolls/bread, or a dessert to share if you are able.
