St. Johnsbury to Set Priorities For Action on May 12th 2015

On Tuesday, May 12th 2015, all members of the St. Johnsbury community are invited to come out to the St. Johnsbury School from 6:30-9:00pm to set direction for the future of the town. On April 8th, more than 200 residents met in focus groups to share their thoughts on critical topics such as the image and identity of St. Johnsbury, building strong neighborhoods, senior issues, education, food energy and land use, youth and creative economic opportuinty, and more. On March 30th, VCRD hosted a youth forum at the St. Johnsbury Academy to gather reflections and ideas from a group of nearly 50 Academy students. On May 12th from 6:30-9:00pm at the St. Johnsbury School, residents will come together for the Second Phase in the St. Johnsbury Community Visit Process. Friends and neighbors will gather to review the list of potential action items, discuss and advocate for what's most importnat for the community, vote on community priorities, and line up for action.
