Councils & Summits
The Vermont Council on Rural Development convenes annual Summits and Policy Councils in order to provide forums for in-depth study and concrete policy recommendations around issues of importance to rural Vermont. The Council holds, as its central value, the integration of the working landscape with the social, economic, and environmental fabric of Vermont. Researching, developing, and advancing policies that support Vermont’s quality of life while promoting economic opportunity is a central part of the Council’s work.
