2010 Northeast Regional Rural Summit
This 2-day Summit convened leaders from 11 northeastern states to look at innovations in Food Systems, Energy, Broadband, and Economic Development and consider ways to expand our partnership toward strengthening our voice at the national level. National and regional USDA leaders, state agency leaders, non-profit and business leaders from throughout the northeastern United States shared best regional and place-based practices and worked toward building strategic partnerships among state Rural Development offices and rural leadership organizations throughout the region.
